This workshop showcases the expertise of two registered counselling professionals, who will guide participants in overcoming psychological barriers and achieving personal growth. Speaker one –
The speaker, Ms. Mak is a highly experienced psychological counselor, mental health consultant, and professional trainer with a diverse background in Hong Kong and the USA. Â Currently, she has dedicated her career to mental health education, pre-marriage and family counseling, as well as assisting clients with psychological issues and career direction. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her ability to foster meaningful group interactions, encourage the sharing of inner thoughts, explore the meaning of life, and facilitate mutual support to help individuals achieve their goals and overcome inner fears, stress, and anxiety.
Her previous experience in international sales and auditing on a global scale has given her valuable insights and experience in revealing the job demand, organizational stress, and daily emotional challenges. She firmly believes that everyone has the ability for self-help and personal growth. Through various intervention processes, such as altering individual narratives, shifting perspectives towards the positive, redefining the ego, and empowering individuals to embrace change, she guides them on their journey of personal transformation within the context of their families and organizations.
The speaker was educated in overseas countries, obtaining a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling, Bachelor of Science in Business Management, and Advanced Diploma in Psychological Counseling and Counseling. In terms of qualification, she obtained HKICC/Charles Yu Professional Instructor Diploma in Child Counseling, the HKFYG Certificate in Play Therapy, Certified Mediator of Conflict Resolution, Certified Mediator of Family and Divorce, Certified NLP Practitioner, Registered Career Planning Counseling and Assessment Practitioner with American Career Direct™, Registered Marriage/Before and After Counseling and Assessment Practitioner with Prepare/Enrich™. She is also a visiting lecturer of Mental Health First Aid in SCOPE of City University.
