Inspired by his senior peers when the time he was a workman, the speaker embarked on part-time studies that spanned nearly two decades. His determination and dedication fueled his steady climb up the career ladder, eventually culminating in directorship positions. This journey endowed him with invaluable experience and insight, shaping his firm belief in the values of perseverance, ambition, commitment, and personal growth. His steadfast commitment to continuous learning led to his recognition as the 35th Anniversary Outstanding Alumni of the Vocational Training Council. Under his leadership, a team of proficient trainers earned distinguished awards, such as the HKMA Training Awards, and the Global and Hong Kong Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise Awards.

He is a Professional Engineer specializing in Electrical Engineering, as well as a Chartered Safety & Health Professional. The speaker, Mr. Chow boasts an illustrious career in power engineering, having held senior and leadership positions across various functions including operations, maintenance, engineering design, procurement, organizational development, and business development. He served as the former senior director of a public listed company.  With a diverse background encompassing over 15+ different roles throughout his career, the speaker has accumulated invaluable experience in strategic business direction, change leadership, and driving continuous improvement.
The speaker is deeply committed to nurturing the growth and development of individuals, assuming roles as a trainer, mentor, and coach for professionals from diverse disciplines and levels. He has occasionally been invited to lead numerous leadership workshops, where he excels in bringing out the best in people. His success stems from his unique approach to engaging and inspiring individuals, earning their trust and loyalty.
The speaker is a Chartered Engineer and holds an MBA degree, along with memberships in prestigious organizations such as the Institution of Engineering and Technologies (IET), the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE), and the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE). He has actively served in public and professional capacities, currently holding the position of Chairman of the Connected Cities Alliances, Chairman of the Finance & Investment Committee of HKIE, and previously serving as a Council Member and Conference Committee Chairman of HKIE, a Board Member of the Green Building Council, a Board Member of the Zero Carbon Building, and Chairman of the IET Hong Kong Branch. Currently, he serves as the Partner and Principal Consultant of a company specializing in engineering and management consultancy.
